So, here we are, just had the Thanksgiving holiday, not too terrible. Was supposed to go to Massachusetts, but of course, in the midst of this lovely crisis, which has a 99.97% survival rate, we wasn't able to do so. Yeah, we face a pandemic every year during flu season, yet, we don't shut down the entire country. Anywho..
So, onto a different topic.. that's right, twofer .. bahahaha. I bought some bath bomb supplies back in the spring, procrastinated what exactly I was going to do, so I'm going to start making them, sell them, as a side hustle. It's a simple recipe for .bath bombs, everyday cooking items mostly, other than the essential oils used to make them smell pretty & the citric acid, which helps create the fizz.
I have no grandeur idea, I'm going to make a crap ton of money, would I like to have a sense of humor about it, yes. I just want to try my creative skills in the idea, I would also like to learn the art of soap making. I'm actually quite the creative person in my own way, my problem is, I get bored rather easily. But, I'm hoping in doing this, it will give me something to teach my daughter, to keep her creative skills going. I want more for my children than I have done.
I'm not super creative, but I'm just trying something different, my creative skills are more pen & paper with words. And I have those who are always being negative about the entire thing, because I've tried one other actual business idea & it didn't work out. And to me direct sales, isn't a business, it's a hobby. For some, it is, that's what they want from it, live off the commission they make or buy on bulk & sell. For me, it was just a way to get me out of the house. Now, this venture with the bath bombs, I'll give it, some time, I'm hoping to get my mix right that it actually sets up the right way.
Anything you attempt these days is going to be hit of miss, but you can't be afraid failure, just keep trying, that's all you can do. I'm just trying to make some side hustle money to help pay for bills & save a little. Anyway, be kind to yourself and others 💜💟
